As I've said before, I definitely enjoy plenty of high-end makeup products, but there's always something exciting about finding a budget-friendly product that performs well.
Who doesn't want to save a little money when you can?
Revolution Beauty is a brand that puts out plenty of high-quality products at a very affordable price point, so I'm always willing to give their new items a try.
Their Reloaded Eyeshadow Palettes have been out for a while, and I've slowly been collecting them. I only have four at the moment, but I feel like the quality is consistent enough among those that I have to assume what the others are like as well.
The palettes are only $7 each, but you get 15 shades in each one so they're a serious value.
Because they're inexpensive palettes, they don't have the most impressive packaging -- they all come in black plastic compacts with clear lids that allow you to see the shades inside. They don't have a mirror.
The four Reloaded Palettes that I have are Basic Mattes, Newtrals 3, Iconic Divison, and Visionary.
Basic Mattes is an entirely matte palette with a nice range of both cool and warm shades in natural colors.

Iconic Division is a mixture of shimmer and matte shades that are good dupes for the ABH Subculture Palette.

And for $7, you're really getting some pretty great shadows.
The shadows are all pretty well pigmented and blend easily. I find that they wear very well too, though I always use a primer beneath my shadows which likely helps.
My one complaint is that one or two of the shadows developed that "hard pan" film that sometimes occurs when moisture from your brush transfers to a pressed powder product. You can just scrape it away, though, and the shadow is as good as new. (I've seen some hacks online about using invisible tape to remove the film without having to scrape the shadow and lose some of the shadow, but I've never tried that.)
All in all, I think these are some pretty palettes and am definitely going to pick up the other color schemes that I like. If there's a color range that you're drawn to, I certainly recommend giving these palettes a try.
You can purchase them at Ulta or on the Revolution Beauty website.
Have you tried the Revolution Beauty Reloaded Eyeshadow Palettes? Which one is your favorite?
Not recognizing or appreciating our own unique beauty is similar to the inference in the quote by Alice Walker that says: "I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it", (The Color Purple). That may be putting it a bit bluntly, but sometimes we need a candid wake-up call. cbd bath bomb glitter
