Product 411: ColourPop x Kathleen Lights Dream St. Collection, Give It To Straight Shadow Palette, and In-Nude-Endo Pressed Highlighter Palette

At this point, I'm pretty much powerless to ColourPop new releases.

They introduce a new product, and I order it a minute later.

I just can't help myself.

The fact that I'm always seriously impressed with everything I pick up definitely doesn't help.

I recently bought the ColourPop X Kathleen Lights Dream St. Shadow Palette and lippies, the Give It To Me Straight Shadow Palette, and the In-Nude-Endo Pressed Highlighter Palette, and they're all pretty fantastic.

Both shadow palettes and the highlighter palette come in cardboard packaging, and none of them has a mirror inside.

The Dream St. Palette has a pretty metallic marble design with some stars and moon artwork, while the Give It To Me Straight Palette has a simple white design with metallic lettering. The In-Nude-Endo Palette has a fun pink and gold metallic pattern.

The Dream St. Palette contains 12 shadows: Shootin Star, a matte soft golden brown; Magical, a matte yellow peach; Star Dust, a metallic copper; Twinkle, a metallic rose gold; Sweet Dreams, a metallic soft champagne with peachy pink duochrome; Water Bearer, a matte cool teal; Potion, a matte vivid reddish rust; Spark, a matte neon red; Kaleidoscope, a metallic silvery nude; Elfish, a matte rich red brown; Moony, a satin soft baby pink; and Mermaid Boy, a metallic deep teal.

This is an absolutely gorgeous palette that performs just as well as all of ColourPop's other pressed shadow palettes.  It has the usual warm tones, but a pop of some cool tones as well.

For me, the palette is worth the $16 price tag for Kaleidoscope alone. It is a magical color that manages to be a nude-y silver/pale green/soft blue all at once. Absolutely stunning.

I also picked up two of the lip products from the collection.

Dreamy ($6.50) is an Ultra Satin Lipstick in a peachy pink shade. It's tad brigher or darker than I typically prefer for everyday, so I love layering Moon Child ($6), the Ultra Glossy Lip from the collection, over it.

Moon Child is a pinky nude with gold glitter that is opaque enough to wear on its own, but also layers beautiful over any lipstick.

The Give It To Me Straight Palette ($16) also contains 12 shadows: Matter of Fact, a matte pale pink; Up Front, a metallic pale gold with silvery sheen; Straight Up, a metallic warm gold; BS, a matte organey brown; Frank, a matte warm brown; Candid, a metallic bright copper; Forthright, a neutral metallic rose; Downright, a matte soft pinky beige; Truth Hurts, a matte peachy beige; Be Blunt, a metallic rich raspberry; TMI, a matte dusty burgundy, and Actually..., a matte deepened chocolate brown.

ColourPop Give It To Me Straight Shadow Palette
This palette is absolutely gorgeous with all its warm rosy/burgundy tones. It is similar to other palettes that ColourPop has put out, though, so you may not find it necessary.

(Like a lot of others, I would really love to see ColourPop come out with a cool tone palette one of these days.)

One noteworthy detail about this palette is that ColourPop printed the names of the shades beneath the pans in the palette, so it's much easier to keep track of which shades are which.

The In-Nude-Endo Palette ($18) is a highlighter palette with 6 highlighters: Glad You Came, a warm ivory; On the Loose, a soft gold; Fine Line, a silvery cream pearl; On Tempo, a soft rosey taupe with gold and silver flecks; Morning After, a light peach with gold and pink flecks; and Losing Sleep, amber with gold highlights.

The formula for these highlighters does seem slightly different than other ColourPop pressed highlighters -- it's smoother and creamier, so it blends over the skin like a dream.

Some of the shades are a little dark for my pale skin, but with a light hand and careful blending, they all work well. Fine Line is my personal fave.

I would recommend any of these products if the colors catch your eye -- you really can't go wrong with anything that ColourPop puts out, if you ask me.

Have you tried the ColourPop x Kathleen Lights Dream St. Collection, Give It To Straight Shadow Palette, and/or In-Nude-Endo Pressed Highlighter Palette? Which product is your favorite?
