I follow her on all social media, bought her cookbook when it came out, and generally just think she's pretty cool.
So I was pretty excited when I heard that she was coming out with a palette with BECCA.
But then I heard it was going to be a face palette and I was a little bummed.
Because my skin tone is pretty different from Christy's so I figured that shades that would work well for her probably wouldn't be the best for me.
Which is why I told myself I shouldn't buy the palette -- and I held strong for about two months.
And then I decided the shades were just too pretty to overlook and I would just find a way to make them work somehow.

The palette comes in a large square compact that features a lovely peachy-pink marble pattern with gold lettering. Inside, there is a generous-sized mirror and the lid stays open by itself so it would work well to do your makeup if you're on the road.

If you've tried BECCA's Shimmering Skin Perfector, the formula for the Rose Gold and Beach Nectar is the same in this palette -- smooth, creamy, and easy to blend. There's no chunky glitter and shimmer in these highlighters, so they look really natural and glowy on the skin.
For my fair skin, Beach Nectar works a little better as a highlighter, but with a fluffier highlighter brush and a light hand, I can even highlight with Rose Gold, which is a deeper shade. I also like it as a blush topper for warmer blushes -- and it makes a pretty eye shadow too.
Beach Nectar does too for that matter.

But my favorite product in the palette is definitely the Hibiscus Bloom Luminous Blush.
I hadn't tried the BECCA Luminous Blushes before this palette, but the formula is amazing. This is one of those blushes that doesn't just sit on top of the skin but blends into it so it looks incredibly natural.
And the luminous glow it gives the cheeks?
Absolutely freaking amazing.
I definitely think that there are more of these blushes in my future.
Hibiscus Bloom, though, is a gorgeous color that's fairly bright but still not too much for my fair skin.
All in all, the palette is really pretty. It's more suited for medium and darker skin tones, I think, but those of us with fair and light skin can still rock it with a lighter hand.
The palette retails for $46, which is kind of pricey, and is available on the BECCA website, at Sephora, and Ulta.
Have you tried the BECCA X Christy Teigen Glow Face Palette? Which shades are your favorites?
