Like a lot of people, I live for a good highlighter.
So even though I have a drawer full of them, I'm always on the hunt for the next best highlighting product -- and if it happens to be a budget-friendly product, all the better.
There certainly are quite a few drugstore highlighters that do a nice job -- the e.l.f. Baked Highlighters have been a favorite of mine for a while now -- but I have had some trouble finding one that offers as intense a highlight as some of my higher end favorites.
Until I tried the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter Powder.
Despite the "Vivid" in the the product name, I wasn't really expecting big things from the highlighter because I've found that you usually get intense color or shine if you use baked products wet (the e.l.f. Baked Highlighters, while lovely, do tend to offer more of a subtle look) and that's not something I'm really interested in doing with a highlighting product.
But the Vivid Baked Highlighter Powders are only $6 at Ulta, so I couldn't resist giving one a try.
They come in a simple plastic compact with a clear lid that allows you to see the product inside. It contains 7.5 grams of product, which is fairly generous.

While the powder is fairly hard, like most baked products, it feels creamier than most and blends very easily into the skin. It doesn't contain any glitter, so it has a more natural look on the skin than some highlighters.

I really don't think that you can get a more intense highlighter at a better price.
If Golden Lights isn't your thing, the Vivid Baked Highlighter Powders come in four other shades, including a matte option, which might be a better option if you aren't a fan of a really bold highlight.
Either way, I definitely recommend checking these out if you're in the market for a really great and budget-friendly highlighting option.
You can find them at Ulta or any place Makeup Revolution products are sold.
Have you tried the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter Powders? Which shade is your favorite?
