The older that I get, the savvier I try to be about my makeup purchases.
That mainly means ignoring the hype for products that I know I really have no use for.
For example, I think the new Kat Von D Pastel Goth Palette looks absolutely beautiful, but those just aren't colors that I'd personally get any kind of regular use out of -- so I'm not giving into temptation despite all the pretty positive reviews I've seen.
In a perfect world, I'd have the space and money to buy any and all makeup items that just looked nice, but that's not my reality so I have to be a little smarter about the things I pick up.
So I was pretty determined not to give in and buy the Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette.
I knew that I wanted to pick up the Papa Don't Peach Blush, and even though the blush in the Sweet Peach Glow Palette was supposed to be different, I figured they'd be close enough that I didn't need both.
The highlighter looked pretty, but I thought I had similar ones already in my collection and I'm super picky when it comes to bronzer so I didn't think I'd be particularly interested in that item either.
So I'd pretty much talked myself out of getting it... and then when I went to buy the Papa Don't Peach Blush and one of the glosses from the collection, the Sweet Peach Glow somehow found its way into my cart.
I don't really know how it happened.
But I've got to say, I'm kind of happy I gave into the hype this time around.
The palette comes in similar tin packaging to the Papa Don't Peach Blush. It's peach colored, and features an embossed peach design.

It is fairly subtle, so it may not show up very well on darker skin tones, but it does layer nicely so you can build it up somewhat.
The blush in the palette is a light peachy pink. It is slightly metallic, though it doesn't have any obvious glitter in it.
Compared to Papa Don't Peach Blush, it is lighter and not nearly as metallic.

The bronzer is a light golden brown. Surprisingly, despite the fact that it's included in a peach-themed collection, it doesn't have any strong orange-y undertones. It is a pretty ideal match for my fair skin, but because it's light, I don't think it would show up very well -- or at all -- on medium or darker skin tones.
The bronzer doesn't have any glitter or obvious shimmer, but it has a slightly metallic sheen. As a result, it's not good for contouring. However, it does a lovely job of adding a warm glow to the skin.
All in all, I think this is a nice palette for fair to medium skin tones. It's not particularly unique, but it is convenient to have the three products together in a single palette.
I really wish that the palette had the Papa Don't Peach Blush in it, though. The blush inside is perfectly nice, but Papa Don't Peach is particularly lovely and glow-y so it gets the edge without a doubt.
The blushes are different enough that you could justify having both blushes, but if you don't want to buy both, I think they're close enough that you could just pick one.
The palette retails for $42, and is available on the Too Faced website, Sephora, Ulta, and anywhere you can buy Too Faced products.
