Every makeup brand and their mother has a liquid lipstick on the market these days, and even as someone who isn't particularly a fan of these types of products, I can't resist trying all of them out.
It's a sickness.
So after resisting the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colors for a long while (I feel like these have been on the market for over a year, right?), I broke down the other day when I was at Target and picked one up.
The Ultra HD Matte Lip Colors come in clear frosted plastic tubes that are kind of flattened in the middle instead of being rounded. Because you can see through the tube, you can easily see the shade when you're searching through your drawer for a lip color.
The doe-foot applicator is almost concave, so it really conforms to the shape of your lips, making it easy to apply the product. The tip is also narrowed, so you can get nice, crisp, neat lines.

It doesn't completely dry down like some liquid lipsticks, though, so it's not transfer-proof. It also doesn't last quite as long as the more drying liquid lipstick formulas, but it still wears longer than traditional lipsticks. I can get a good five or six hours of this lipstick.
I purchased the Ultra HD Matte Lip Color in Seduction, which is a kind of a peachy, warm nude shade. It's a nice everyday lip color if I'm going for a warm eye look (which, to be honest, I've been doing all the time lately).

I don't have any plans to purchase more at the moment -- just because I already have so many liquid lipsticks that I can't really justify buying any more -- but if they came out with a shade that I considered a must-have, I'd buy it without hesitation.
The lip colors retail for approximately $8.99, and are available anywhere that you can find Revlon products.
Have you tried the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colors? Which shade is your favorite?
