I usually have good luck with Tarte's face products.
That's because they're always coming out with new formulas, so there's usually something that's a good fit for the way my skin is acting at any given moment, and because they almost always have a shade that's light enough and not too yellow for my fair skin.
I tried the Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation last year, when it was exclusively available through QVC, and I really like it -- it's extremely lightweight and looks very natural on the skin, while still offering medium to full coverage.
What's not to like?
That's why I was excited to try the Rainforest of the Sea Aquacealer Concealer, which recently came out with the larger launch of Tarte's Rainforest of the Sea collection.
The concealer comes in similar packaging to the foundation -- it's housed in a glass bottle with a gold and purple metallic cap and gold writing.

Tarte claims that the concealer's 20 percent water content makes the product moisturizing, but I don't find it to be particularly hydrating. However, it still works well on areas of my face that tend to be drier, such as under the eyes and around my nose. It doesn't cling to dry patches, it doesn't crease, and it doesn't get cakey either.
In terms of finish, it isn't really matte, but it isn't dewy either. It again reminds me of the foundation because the finish is more natural than anything else.
I primarily use concealer under my eyes and around my nose, but I can use this product anywhere on my face that needs extra coverage. Because my skin is drier, I find that I don't need to set it, but if your skin is oilier, I would probably recommend adding a little powder over it.
I purchased the concealer in the lightest shade, Fair, and it is a very good match for my pale skin.

One end of the brush features a larger, fluffier end that's ideal for blending concealer under the eyes or other larger areas of the face. The other end is a shorter, denser brush that is perfect for targeting acne or other blemishes.

The concealer retails for $26 and the brush goes for $24. You can purchase them at Sephora or on the Tarte website. However, if you plan to buy both, you're better off purchasing from QVC, where you can a set with the two for just $29.50 (+ $3 s/h).
Have you tried the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Aquacealer Concealer and/or Airbrusher Double-Ended Concealer Brush? What's your favorite concealer and application method these days?
