Product Alert -- bareMinerals Divine Decadence 8-Piece Collection TSV on QVC

With the holidays right around the corner, there are so many amazing kits and sets available that deliver serious bang for your buck.

In particular, QVC usually has some really great TSV kits at the holidays -- and I'm always sure to pick up the bareMinerals set because I'm a big fan of the brand and there are usually new products included that I can't wait to try.

Tomorrow, November 9, the bareMinrals Divine Decadence 8-Piece Collection will be available as the TSV on QVC for just $49.98 (+$3 s/h). 

I ordered the kit early, so here's a quick rundown in case you're trying to decide whether or not to pick it up.

Right off the bat, I'll say that I think this collection would make a lovely gift. It comes in a pretty red box with gold embossing (it seems to be the packaging for all of bareMinerals holiday collection) that would be pretty impressive to open.

Like all of bareMinerals' Mineral Veil products, the Diamond Light is a very finely milled powder. This version has a slightly pink tone and subtle silver shimmer. Because of the shimmer, I don't really see this as an all over finishing powder. I've used it more like a highlighter on the tops of the cheekbones, etc.

The Absolute Indulgence Blush is a loose blush in a pretty natural rose shade.

The Shadow Quickie Cream Eyeshadow Stick is a new product from bareMinerals -- and just as the name suggests, it's a cream shadow stick in twist-up form. Pewter is a taupe-y shade with purple undertones. The formula is extremely creamy and blends out very well. It might not be the best for extremely oily lids, though, so you're probably better off using it as a colored base instead.

The Baseline Silky Cream Eyeliner is another new product. It's a nice smooth cream eyeliner that applies very easily. The Deep Brown shade is rich chocolate brown.

Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara Petite Precision Brush boasts the same formula as the regular Lash Domination Mascara (which I love), but its brush is much smaller so it's perfect for lower lashes or just those hard to reach inner lashes.

I love the Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss formula, and while the Best Dressed shades looks a little intimidating in the tube, it's actually a very wearable sheer berry shade that would flatter most skin tones.

The Flawless Face Brush and the Full-Edge Liner Brush are both very nice, usable brushes. I'm particularly impressed with the liner brush because I thought the bristles were too long to provide a neat line. I was wrong.
