Product 411 -- ColourPop Mondays in Malibu Super Shock Shadow Collection and Sundays in Silverlake Lippie Stix Collection
ColourPop is on a serious roll lately.
Though I guess that's not entirely accurate -- because they seem to have been on a roll from the very start. Pretty much every product that I've tried from them has been fantastic.
Still, their summer collection had me swooning the very first second I saw it because the colors are just to die for.
Which is why I purchased way more from the collection that I should have.
I just couldn't resist.
If you're trying to be good, though, I definitely recommend the two sets from the collection -- Mondays in Malibu, a set of six Super Shock Shadows, and Sundays in Silverlake, a set of six Lippie Stix.

Product Review -- ColourPop Super Shock Cheek Highlighters
Note: So over the next week or so, there are going to be a few ColourPop posts. I placed an embarrassing amount of orders over the past month and a half, and I've got a ton of new products and shades that I just have to share because I'm crazy in love. But just to be clear -- I paid for all of these items myself so the ColourPop obsession I clearly have is the real and genuine article. I don't know that I've fallen this hard for a brand since my early days with The Balm. Seriously.
I've been on the hunt for a cream highlighter that I could really love.
I've tried plenty that have come close, but I haven't found one that combines a formula I love with the shade I'm looking for (something cool-toned but not too pink).
That's why I was so excited when I heard that ColourPop was coming out with a line of highlighters.
I've a big fan of their Super Shock cream formula -- which really isn't like any cream formula I've tried before -- for both their eye shadows and blushes and I was intrigued by the prospect of a highlighter that has the same texture.

Review -- pur Minerals Secret Crush Palette
I'm an impulsive makeup shopper.
I can admit that.
I decide to buy items on a whim all the time -- even when I don't really need them, even when I'm not in a shopping mood.
But usually, there's a method to madness, which means there's a brand I've been dying to try or a lipstick shade I've been thinking about for a while and I decide to bite the bullet on the spur of the moment.
The pur Minerals Secret Crush Palette was definitely an impulsive buy, but there's really no rhyme or reason behind it.
I've heard of pur Minerals, but I've never been particularly interested in trying the brand.
So the reason that this palette wound up in my bag on Ulta's website?

Review -- e.l.f. Pressed Mineral Foundation
I'm a big fan of e.l.f.
They make a lot of pretty fabulous products that are super budget-friendly and they're always having sales on top of that, so you can score a ton of items without your wallet hurting too much.
But as much as I love e.l.f., I've never had much luck with their face products -- the foundations, concealers, tinted moisturizers, etc. have always been too dark for my super fair skin or I wasn't a fan of the formulas.
There have been a couple of exceptions, though -- like the Studio Moisturizing Foundation Stick. I like that a lot on days when I'm in a hurry to get my makeup on.
Still, I decided to give the e.l.f. Pressed Mineral Foundation a try because I'd heard some good things about it.
And e.l.f. describes it as a hydrating powder, which, to someone with dry to normal skin, is pretty much music to my ears.

Product Review -- Tarte Poppy Picnic Amazonian Clay Eye & Cheek Palette
This spring, it seems like Tarte has come out with a million palettes -- and I just may have bought all of them.
I'm not sure.
I'm actually kind of afraid to see if I missed any because I'll inevitably wind up buying them if I did.
I have a problem.
The Poppy Picnic Amazonian Clay Eye & Cheek Palette was kind of a no-brainer for me because the packaging is so pretty, the shades included are right up my alley, and the compact size makes it ideal for travel.
I also bought it during the Sephora VIB sale, so the 15% off didn't hurt either.

Review -- Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Extreme Shimmer Shadow & Liner and Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Extreme Shimmer Cream Shadow & Liner
Physicians Formula is not a brand that I usually pay much attention to.
There's really no reason for that -- though maybe I am slightly put off by their high-for-drugstore-products prices -- but while I often browse their offerings when I'm at the store, I very rarely wind up picking up anything.
Recently, though, when I spotted their (fairly) new Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Extreme Shimmer Shadows & Liners and Cream Shadows & Liners, I couldn't resist picking them up.
I'm just a girl who loves shimmer so it was kind of a no brainer.
