Sometimes, I try to determine what type of makeup products are my ultimate weakness.
If you've been reading the blog recently, you might think eye shadow palettes -- that's a definite possibility.
I'm always crazy for foundations, concealers, powders, BB creams, tinted moisturizers and any face product that claims it can make my skin look flawless.
But then I do get kind of crazy around blushes and highlighters too.
Lately, though, I have been totally bonkers about lip products.
I feel like I've purchased a ton of lipsticks and glosses lately, and there are still a ton more than I've got my eye on.
That's why when I saw the new Too Faced La Creme Lipsticks from their spring collection, I couldn't resist.
There are five new shades all together, but I just picked up two: Taffy and Pink Chocolate.
(I'm not really clear on whether these are limited edition shades or just new colors that are being introduced as part of the spring collection.)
Before I get into the shades themselves, let me talk about the formula.
I actually purchased three of the permanent La Creme Lipsticks over the summer, but never got around to reviewing them, so I've tried five different shades now -- and the formula is the same across the board.
It's smooth, creamy, non-drying, and super-pigmented.
Usually, one coat is all you need to get the color that you see in the tube.
Because they're more moisturizing than typical lipsticks, though, they aren't particularly long lasting. I can typically get a two to three hours of wear out of them if I'm not eating or drinking, but I do layer them over a lipliner so that might help with the longevity.
They come in sleek gold packaging with 'Too Faced' embossed on the side and 'TF' embossed on the end of the cap.

Taffy is a pale pink nude shade.
Pink Chocolate is a rich brown berry shade.
Nude Beach is a peachy nude.
Naked Dolly is very similiar to Taffy in that it's a pink nude shade, but I think it has beige or brown undertones that Taffy doesn't.
Teddy Berry is rich red berry shade.

I love all of the shades that I have, but Nude Beach is my favorite and probably most worn.
I will say that there's some similarity between these shades, though, so you may not need all of them.
Taffy and Naked Dolly are pretty similiar, so you can probably choose one or the other. Pink Chocolate and Teddy Berry are also similiar, though the first is definite more brown-based and the second is more red-toned, so I think you could make a case for having both.
If these shades don't appeal to you, I definitely recommend checking out the rest of the range, which is pretty impressive.
The formula is so nice that you should find a color that works for you to try it out -- I don't think you'll be disappointed.
They retail for $22 each at Too Faced, Sephora, and Ulta.
Have you tried the Too Faced La Creme Lipsticks? Which shade is your favorite?
