It's really starting to feel like Christmas around here these days -- I had two AD installments of
QVC beauty TSVs show up on my doorstep this past week.
And having new makeup to play always feels like a holiday to me.
The fourth (and final) installment of the
bareMinerals Beautifully Brilliant TSV,
Chic Mystique, is an interesting collection of shades that I'm definitely excited to experiment with.
The kit contains:
- Perfect Light Mineral Veil Finishing Powder
- Ready Eyeshadow 4.0 in The Fantasy
- Ready Liner Shadow The Night Is Young
- Spellbound Blush
- Marvelous Moxie Lipsgloss in Rule Breaker
- Contour Blush Brush
- Double-Ended Shaping Eye Brush
- Gunmetal Clutch
Like the three previous collections, the kit contains the
Perfect Light Mineral Veil Finishing Powder, a nice, lightweight powder, and two brushes. In this kit, the brushes are the
Contour Blush Brush and a
double-ended Shaping Eye Brush.

The Ready Eyeshadow 4.0 in
The Fantasy contains
Silhouette, a satin ivory;
Extravagance, a shimmery yellow gold;
Clandestine, a shimmery gray/green/gold;
and
Amnesia, a matte charcoal.

I haven't much chance to play around with these shades, but I think that they'll be perfect for a holiday smokey eye.
The Ready Liner Shadow Duo in
The Night Is Young contains
Chauffeur, blackened gold, and
Our Little Secret, a matte black with silver glitter.

Both are gorgeous and would work equally well as eye liner and a crease or outer corner shadow.
The loose blush in
Spellbound is a neutral pink with subtle silver shimmer.

It's a lovely shade that I think would work for many skin tones.
The Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in
Rule Breaker is a shimmery golden nude.

I seriously love these
Marvelous Moxie Lipglosses, and this is a really pretty shade. It's fairly sheer, though, so I see this more as a topper for lipstick or lipliner rather than a gloss that can stand on its own.
Like the previous collections, the kit also comes with a pamphlet that provides two different possible looks with the products included in case you need a little inspiration. There's also a cute little pewter makeup bag -- it's small but can easily hold all of the items in the kit plus a few more.

All in all, this is a pretty collection of colors that I think would work well for holiday parties and other festive occasions where you want to rock a sexy, smokey. If you're not a fan of smokey eye looks, though, you'll probably want to cancel this installment.
What's your favorite look for holiday parties?
